One of the many great Mexican family restaurants in Boyle hts.
The expected fir a Bh restaurant: hand made tortillas, coffee w cinnamon n all the usual go to plates in Mexican cuisine.
You will find Chispa family working here daily ready to serve you exactly what u need.
One favorite moment here involved eavesdropping on a table of elder men who were veterans of some war. Missing fingers, wearing hats w medals of the branch of military they were in. This day they spoke of bellies of boats filled "with pura Raza" that would be the first to land n first to take fire. One man said only two of us from my boat made it bk. All nodded in silence.
That's what u find at Chispa good food n people w stories.
Be very nice n they might make u something custom if u know how to ask. I like the Chile relleno w mole instead of the Chile relleno sauce. So good. -

I only come here for breakfast burritos. If it ain't chorizo or weenie con huevo, it ain't for me.
There is nothing innovative or spectacular about them, they're just breakfast burritos made simple and done well. The señoras making them know what they're doing and their service is worth the visit. I'm sure the other menu items are good but if it ain't broke, don't fix it. -

Took the madre out for some authentic mexican cuisine jk she paid. Are experience was pleasant, with a family-friendly environment one cannot help but feel welcomed. The food although legit, doesn't really have anything unique about it to seperate it from the plithera of mexican restaurants. That being said you can't go wrong with this place. To finish off the prices are so-so, I had the Chile Colorado (no relation to the state) because yal know I am the prince of spice And for those intrested they do have delivery.

Great service! Loved their Spinach and pina drink. Really refreshing and delicious. Had the milanesa and enjoyed it. Will come back.
